The vision that the Lord has called us into is getting bigger and bigger as time goes by. We believe that all things are possible with God so that's why we dare to dream and to dream big.

We are working toward the establishment of other programs as the nedd that we have seen and the voice of o ur Lord burns in our hearts. We would like to take a look at it and we trust that a flame will start burning in your hearts to get involved in not only the projects that we have already but also in these new ones coming up.

TRADES SCHOOLS

We have seen the need of more skills and training. A lot of the older children have no trade or life skill in order to look for a better future. We are currently expecting a donation of several computers in order to start our first computer school for the children. Our goal as well, is to set up carpentry, electrical and plumbing shops in order to train young people in the basics of a trade.


PROMISED LAND SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (PLSM)

We are excited because we have been working on starting next year the leadership training center. We have seen a great need for training in order to advance leadership skills among pastors and leaders. We are still at the planning stage but are looking to start the training seminars by the spring of next year. Some seminars will be held at local regions in different communities and also at the PLM facilities in Guatemala City. We are working on the curriculum and making contacts for the different lecturers involved. We have already made contacts with teachers from the USA and Canada that would volunteer their time to come and teach as well as we will have Guatemalan teachers assisting in the school. Teachers wanted.


FUTURE MINISTRY LOCATIONS

As we have pray and felt that there is more need around the communities of Atitlan Lake, we have heard about the needs of San Antonio Palopo and Santa Catarina Palopo. Initially we are looking into sponsoring children to go to school and we are hoping and praying to be able to establish more Spring of Hope programs in these communities and other countries.

Santa Catarina Palopo
Is a village west of San Antonio, population of about 4,000 people. This village is in a much worse situation than San Antonio.

San Antonio Palopo
Is a village located in the northern part of the lake not far from San Lucas. This village has about 10,000 people, only one school for about 300 students. There has been, already 6 medical clinics and kid’s programs held in this community but that is not enough. The police chief in this village accepted the Lord through one of this clinics, praise the Lord. Our goal is to be able to set up another program like Spring of Hope in this village in order to bring some help and the gospel in this community that needs.
